This spares you the time you spend on looking for suppliers, but the banner work still needs to be done. ClickBank is an affiliate tracking company that handles only digital products, that is, products which can be downloaded through the supplier's web site instantly after they have been bought, including software programs, ebooks, videos, etc. Just follow this procedure: (1) Become a member of ClickBank to become an affiliate by clicking on the link near the top of the column on the left. (You're not required to give a web site URL.) The cost? Nothing. (2) Sign up for the "Automated Ads" lifetime membership by clicking the banner near the top of the column on the right. The cost? Nothing. (3) Watch the "Automated Ads" training video lessons. (4) If you don't possess a website, make a blog in a couple of minutes at WordPress.com, and then view the "Automated Ads" WordPress video lesson. The cost? Nothing. With approximately an hour's work, you should have banner advertisements on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Each time someone visits or refreshes the page, the banner advert rotates at random between the most successful ClickBank products in the category you selected. (In this case, it was 'E-Business and E-Marketing'.) This random display is controlled by the "Automated Ads" software, and always displays the most successful products. The products on the right are also ClickBank items, but they do not change. We've hard-coded them into this page, because we feel that a few of them may be useful to visitors who read this article. We've examined their product sales web pages, and, taking them at face value, deem them worthwhile to have a look at. We can vouch for only those that we use ourselves, which are 'Micro Niche Finder', 'Elite Article Marketing Tools', 'Easy Video Player' and 'Automated Ads'. You'll very likely target those affiliate programs that pay at least 4% for consumer products such as TVs and games units. Intangible goods like e-books and software can pay out 50% or higher! 25% is customary for financial products. Insurance agencies may hand you $5 just for a sales prospect, without actually selling anything at all, and $70 if the prospect purchases insurance. You might be surprised at some of the organisations that operate affiliate programs, even huge ones, such as Argos, Sears, Walmart, Sony... "What else will I require?"Persistence. Do not anticipate results immediately. It might require some time and effort from you, but results will come to you for sure. The amount of your success is usually commensurate with your labor in the early months. Ultimately, your enterprise will reach critical mass and begin to snowball.
