alright so i just transferred to a university and I left my job at home. I will be going back to work in the summer. I had to leave my job at home cause my new school is two hours away.I am not really having a difficult time money wise. I had over $4,000 saved when i was at home. Now that im away and not working, and after christmas, I am now down to 1,900. I feel terrible, like i havent been managing my money even though I dont make a lot. but I have to pay for most extra expenses myself. my parents do not help me, and they shouldnt because they are paying my tuition, which is more than enough.My parents are not helping me with extra expenses, im basically on my own. but they are paying my tuition. i just took out a $3,000 loan and I am really scared of my future now.I started working when I was 16 and I was doing fine money wise. But now that I dont have a job, I am not used to having no money. Im trying to save but its hard when you dont get a paycheck anymore. Ive tried looking for a job at school but there are no openings right now. and I need something off campus because anything off campus will be difficult for me to get to. and I have been looking, but there are no job openings anywhere.
