(4) For those who don't possess a web page, create a blog in just a couple of minutes at WordPress.com, and then look at the "Automated Ads" WordPress video tutorial. The cost? Nothing.

For approximately an hour's effort, you should have banner ads on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. It varies to a great extent. You will most likely select those affiliate schemes that pay out at least 4% on consumer goods like TV sets and games consoles. Intangible goods such as e-books and software programs might pay 50% or more! 25% is customary for financial products. Insurance companies can hand you $5 just for a sales lead, without actually selling anything, and $70 if the prospect buys a policy.
