With more or less an hour's effort, you should have banner advertisements on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Whenever a visitor arrives at or refreshes the page, the banner advertisement changes randomly between the top-selling ClickBank products from the category you selected. (In this case, it was 'E-Business and E-Marketing'.) This random showing is controlled by the "Automated Ads" software, and always displays the most successful products.

An important fact to keep in mind is that anything you buy at ClickBank is refundable during the first 60 days. This guarantee is imposed on suppliers by the ClickBank system, whether they like it or not. Your money will therefore be refunded if you don't keep the item.

"How much commission will I be rewarded with?"

There's no hard and fast rule. You will probably try out those affiliate programs that pay out at least 4% on consumer goods such as televisions and games consoles. Digital products like e-books and software may pay out 50% or more! 25% is common for financial services. Insurance companies could pay you $5 merely for supplying a name and address, without selling anything, and $70 if the prospective customer purchases a policy. You may be surprised at some of the organizations that operate affiliate programs, even giant ones, like Sears, Walmart, Argos, Sony...

"Is there anything else I shall need?"

Persistence. Do not expect miracles overnight. It may take a little effort and time at your end, but results will come to you for sure. The measure of your success will likely be proportional to your effort in the first several weeks. In the end, your enterprise will reach critical mass and begin to snowball. From that moment it is going to be not easy to stop the cash rolling into your bank account. Have a good time!
