After more or less an hour's effort, you should have banner adverts on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Whenever someone hits or refreshes the page, the banner advertisement rotates at random between the top-selling ClickBank products in the category you chose. It varies significantly. You will probably aim for those affiliate programs which pay a minimum of 4% for consumer products like televisions and games consoles. Intangible products such as ebooks and software can pay out 50% or higher! 25% is widespread for financial products. Insurance companies may compensate you $5 simply for a sales prospect, without actually selling anything at all, and $70 if the prospective customer buys insurance. You might be surprised at some of the businesses that offer affiliate programs, even gigantic ones, like Argos, Sears, Walmart, Sony...

"What else will I require?"

Patience. Do not expect riches immediately. It may need a little effort and time from you, but results will happen to you for sure. The measure of your success is usually reflected by your input in the first several weeks. Sooner or later, your endeavour will achieve critical mass and begin to snowball.
