"What can I offer to the public?"

The easiest way to make cash on the Internet is to advertise services or products provided by other businesses. This is termed "Affiliate Marketing". You become an affiliate of the product manufacturer or service provider, and they hand you money as a commission on whatever you sell for them.

What does it cost to become an affiliate? Nothing! No more than the time it takes to research a few great affiliate products or services. If that is too tedious for you, there is, fortunately, a quicker approach. Become a member of one or more of the "affiliate tracking sites". These are organizations that process the affiliate sales monitoring and commission disbursements on behalf of a lot of businesses. You will be able to select the suppliers that interest you from their lists. They also e-mail you every time a new supplier joins their scheme. This saves you the time spent on looking for suppliers, but the banner task nonetheless needs to be done. ClickBank is an affiliate tracking company that offers only intangible products, specifically, products which may be downloaded through the supplier's web page directly as soon as they have been purchased, like software programmes, ebooks, videos, etc. Simply follow this procedure: (1) Sign up with ClickBank to become an affiliate by clicking the link near the top of the column at the left. (You do not have to provide a web site address.) The cost? Nothing. (2) Get the "Automated Ads" life membership by clicking on the banner near the top of the column on the right. The cost? Nothing. (3) Look at the "Automated Ads" guidance videos. (4) For those who don't own a web page, get a blog in just a couple of minutes at WordPress.com, and then look at the "Automated Ads" WordPress video tutorial. The cost? Nothing.

After about an hour's effort, you should have banner ads on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Every time anyone visits or refreshes the page, the banner ad rotates at random among the most successful ClickBank products from the category you selected. (In this case, it was 'E-Business and E-Marketing'.) This random showing is handled by the "Automated Ads" software, and always shows the most successful products.

"Will I need anything else?"

Persistence. Do not count on results immediately. It may need some effort and time at your end, but results will happen for certain. The amount of your success will likely be appropriate to your input in the first several weeks. Ultimately, your venture will attain critical mass and start to snowball.
