How much does it cost to become an affiliate? Nothing! Only the time needed to search for some great affiliate products or services. ClickBank is an affiliate tracking company that offers only digital products, specifically, products that may be downloaded from the supplier's website instantaneously after they have been paid for, such as software, ebooks, videos, etc. Simply follow this procedure: (1) Join up at ClickBank to be an affiliate by clicking on the hyperlink near the top of the column at the left. (You do not need to give a web site address.) The cost? Nothing. (2) Sign up for the "Automated Ads" lifetime membership by clicking the banner at the top of the column at the right. The cost? Nothing. (3) Watch the "Automated Ads" guidance video lessons. (4) If you do not have a web page, make a blog in just a few minutes at WordPress.com, and then watch the "Automated Ads" WordPress video lesson. The cost? Nothing.

For roughly an hour's effort, you should have banner ads on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Every time someone visits or refreshes the page, the banner advertisement rotates at random between the most successful ClickBank products in the category you chose. (In this case, it was 'E-Business and E-Marketing'.) This random showing is controlled by the "Automated Ads" software system, and always shows the most successful products.

The amount of your success will likely be commensurate with your effort in the first several weeks. In due course, your business will reach critical mass and begin to snowball.
