Intangible goods such as e-books and software might pay 50% or more! 25% is common for financial products. Insurance companies may award you $5 just for sending a name and address, without selling anything at all, and $70 if the prospect purchases a policy. You might be surprised at some of the organisations that operate affiliate schemes, even gigantic ones, like Sony, Argos, Walmart, Sears...

"Is there anything else I shall need?"

Persistence. Don't expect results overnight. It may require a little effort and time from you, but results will come for certain. The measure of your success is normally proportional to your efforts in the first several weeks. Eventually, your endeavour will reach critical mass and begin to snowball.
