They also e-mail you whenever a new business joins their system. This spares you the time you spend on trying to find suppliers, but the banner work still needs to be done. A few affiliate tracking web sites are LinkShare.com, ShareASale.com, AffiliateFuture.co.uk, WebGains.com, Buy.at, LinkConnector.com, CommissionJunction.com, AffiliateWindow.com.

If you find all that too difficult to try and do, there is an even simpler and quicker way. In truth, it is probably impossible to find any technique for earning money less complex and quicker to start up than ClickBank + "Automated Ads". ClickBank is an affiliate tracking company that deals only in intangible products, that is, products which can be downloaded through the supplier's website on line straight away after they've been bought, like software programmes, ebooks, videos, etc. Just follow this procedure: (1) Sign up at ClickBank to become an affiliate by clicking the hyperlink near the top of the column on the left. (You're not required to provide a website address.) The cost? Nothing. (2) Join up for the "Automated Ads" lifetime membership by clicking on the banner near the top of the column at the right. The cost? Nothing. (3) Look at the "Automated Ads" guidance video lessons. (4) For those who don't own a web page, make a blog in a few minutes at WordPress.com, and then watch the "Automated Ads" WordPress video. The cost? Nothing.

For just about an hour's work, you should have banner adverts on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Each time anyone visits or reloads the page, the banner advert rotates randomly between the most popular ClickBank products in the category you selected. (In this case, it was 'E-Business and E-Marketing'.) This random display is controlled by the "Automated Ads" software system, and always shows the most successful products.

The products on the right are also ClickBank items, but they do not change. We've hard-coded them into this page, because we think that a number of them could be of use to visitors who read this article. We've looked at their product sales pages, and, based on them, consider them worthwhile to have a look at. An important fact to remember is that anything you buy at ClickBank is refundable during the first 60 days. This guarantee is enforced on suppliers by the ClickBank system, whether they like it or not. Your money will therefore be refunded if you don't keep the item.

"What commission will I be rewarded with?"

It can vary hugely. You'll very likely wish to go for those affiliate schemes which pay a minimum of 4% for consumer goods like televisions and games units. Intangible goods like ebooks and computer software may pay out 50% or higher! 25% is common for financial products. Insurance companies may pay you $5 just for a prospective client, without actually selling anything, and $70 if the prospective client buys a policy. You may be surprised at some of the businesses that offer affiliate programmes, even giant ones, like Argos, Sony, Sears, Walmart...

"What else will I need?"

Patience. Do not expect results overnight. It might require some time and effort at your end, but success will come for sure. The amount of your success is normally proportional to your input in the early several weeks. Eventually, your venture will achieve critical mass and begin to snowball.
