It depends on the kind of product. You will very likely aim for those affiliate programmes that pay out at least 4% on consumer goods such as TVs and games units. Intangible products such as ebooks and software may pay out 50% or more! 25% is frequent for financial services. Insurance companies can compensate you $5 just for a lead, without selling anything, and $70 if the prospective customer buys insurance.
