If that's too time-consuming for you, there does exist, happily, a quicker method. Join a few of the "affiliate trackers". These are organisations that carry out the affiliate sales tracking and commission disbursements on behalf of numerous suppliers. You're able to select the businesses that interest you from their inventory. They also notify you each time a new business joins their scheme. This spares you the time you spend on searching for suppliers, but the banner work nonetheless needs to be done. With roughly an hour's work, you should have banner adverts on your web pages or blog like the tall one in the left column on this page. Insurance agencies might give you $5 simply for providing a prospective client, without selling anything, and $70 if the prospective client purchases a policy. You may be surprised at some of the organizations that run affiliate programs, even huge ones, like Walmart, Sony, Argos, Sears...

"Shall I require anything else?"

Persistence. Do not expect miracles right away. It could require some time and effort at your end, but success will come for certain. The measure of your success is normally commensurate with your input in the first several weeks. Eventually, your enterprise will attain critical mass and start to snowball.
