The easiest way to make income on the Internet is to offer products or services provided by other companies. This is known as "Affiliate Marketing". You become an affiliate of the item maker or service provider, and they pay you money as a commission on whatever you sell for them.

What will it cost to be an affiliate? Nothing! Only the time it takes to look for a few great affiliate services or products. Search the Web for "???? affiliate program" (where "????" is your preferred focus of interest). When you have uncovered some you want, sign up for them. (You may have to provide a website address for them to verify. Do not worry if you do not possess any; We shall overcome that in a minute.) After they've accepted you, go to their 'banners' or 'creatives' section and decide on a suitable banner. Copy the banner code and paste it into your web site pages wherever you wish the banner to be displayed. That's all! Now, whenever somebody clicks the banner and purchases a service or product, you will be rewarded with a commission.

If that's too tiresome for you, there does exist, luckily, a quicker way. Sign up with a few of the "affiliate tracking web sites". These are companies that conduct the affiliate sales monitoring and commission disbursements on behalf of numerous businesses. You are able to choose the suppliers that appeal to you from their lists. They also notify you each time a new business joins their scheme. There are no rules. You will most likely target those affiliate schemes that pay a minimum of 4% for consumer products such as TVs and games consoles. Digital goods like e-books and computer software might pay 50% or higher! 25% is normal for financial services. Insurance companies can compensate you $5 merely for a sales lead, without actually selling anything, and $70 if the prospect purchases insurance. You may be surprised at some of the organisations that offer affiliate programs, even huge ones, such as Walmart, Argos, Sears, Sony...

"Is there something else I shall need?"

Patience. Do not anticipate results immediately. It could need a little time and effort from you, but a successful outcome will come to you for certain. The amount of your success will likely be proportional to your input in the early several weeks. In due course, your business will reach critical mass and begin to snowball.
